About Me

I am an Army veteran who fell in love with photography at a very early age. Over the years my passion with photography has led me to explore many different types of photography and to hone my craft.

My first camera was given to me by my parents one Christmas when I was in elementary school. It was a Kodak camera (before there was digital) and my first couple years of learning was spent shooting in black and white. Little did I know then that this would start a passion that today has grown into my business.

Between childhood and today, I have lived in and visited many parts of the world. Some of the places I have lived were because I was in the military, and the others were for pleasure. I have been to many of the states in the U.S. and have experienced the diversity of things to see in this country. I have also had the good fortune to visit China, Japan and many of the countries in Europe. I feel lucky that I was able to see just a small piece of what the world has to offer. There are still several places I'd love to visit and obviously photograph.

I currently live in western Pennsylvania, and many of the pictures I have on my site are from around Pennsylvania. I have two daughters and a bird which I use sometimes to practice my craft.

One of the things I love about photography is my opportunity to share with others the beauty I find in my daily life. I try to spend time each day with my camera in my hand discovering things to photograph. This has forced me to slow down and enjoy each moment and take the time to find the beauty in all things.
